The Family

The Espinozas are an incredibly fun, warm, generous, hospitable and lively yet laid-back family.

Nelly’s husband Tonino is a lovely welder who works mainly from home in his workshop.

They have four children. The three youngest children have all attended the local bi-lingual school on scholarships and all speak fluent English. Of the three only Emilio-Jose lives at home and is in 6th grade. Their second oldest daughter, Lexie, is currently studying medicine on scholarship at university in San Pedro Sula. Fifteen year old Edy is also in San Pedro Sula completing his bi-lingual secondary education. Their oldest daughter is married with children and lives nearby in Copan.

The Espinozas value education very much and are incredibly grateful for the opportunities their children have received.

By teaching private Spanish lessons in her home, Nelly can take care of her family while providing additional income which contributes to her children’s education.
